forcast temperatures and actual temperatures can differ greatly as shown on this display.

Remember that forcast temperatures are based on historical averages. As climate change gathers pace the historical data will be of little use in the future.

Also bear in mind that these temperatures are taken IN THE SHADE….

If you are in the sun you should add on about 5 degrees to these readings.

If you are walking or hiking bring a minimum 2 liters of water. 3 to 4 liters is best.

Stay safe this summer and dont walk or hike for more than 4 hours max……

For day 2 of our 10th Anniversary Week in Ainsa, one group went hiking in the north of the region, to what I think is one of the most beautiful spots in the Pyrenees, Ibon de Plan.

That evening, we enjoyed a buffet dinner in a local delicatessen where the wine was flowing freely. Returning guests Joe, Madaline, Paul, Bob and Cathy must have taken advantage of this wine, as the broke out into song part the way through the evening with their own rendition of ‘There’s no business like show business’, which they had been planning for quite some time to wish the Hike Pyrenees team all the best for the next ten years. Cheers guys, it was brilliant! 😀
