A few butterfly species and some other wildlife from the Sierra Nevada last weekend with Emma and Aiden from Sevilla.
Hi Tim and Pat,
Glad you had a great time on the Village to Village hike in the Valle de Tena – we’re really pleased with the hiking on this itinerary. Thanks for coming and it would be great to see you in the Pyrenees again – take a look at our Villages of the Guara itinerary which is superb as well.
We have just had a fantastic village to village walking tour with Hike Pyrenees. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Great organisation. Fantastic information. Thank you to all 😎

We were joined by Gill and Chris for the week who are very keen botanists and mountain walkers. Peaks were climbed and flowers were identified in abundance! A great week with great people, thank you for your company!
We found this very pretty Provence Burnet moth whilst hiking on Santa Erosia mountain the other day, very striking. It also reminded me of the Queen of hearts from the mad hatters tea party in the story book ‘Alice in wonderland’.
The first mountain for the whole of the James family. Punta del Pacino (1965m) with Christopher, Isabel and Ruby the dog. 570m of ascent and 7.75km – not bad for a 6 and 3 year old! Hopefully first peak of many.
