Out hiking around the Mallos de Riglos yesterday on our Riglos & Alquezar holiday. Chilly wind but fantastic views and dozens of vultures. Today we rest the legs for a vineyard tour and then head over to Alquezar for the second part of the holiday.
Three new species in the garden last night, one I am fairly sure about Dichagyris flammatra (Black Collar). One I have named but I am unsure of Chloroclysta siterata (Red-green Carpet) and the third remains unnamed at the moment.
First holiday of the season – our Riglos & Alquezar trip. Fabulous couple of days hiking so far in the Mallos de Agüero and Loarre Castle. Great to be out of the office and back on the hills with groups again! Today we head up to the cliffs of Riglos. First of what will be many great hikes this season.
