Both ski stations in the valley – Formigal and Panticosa – are open. There’s quite a bit of snow for this time of year and on piste the conditions are excellent – particularly in Panticosa. Here’s a couple of photos from Panticosa today – the lake is Ibon de Sabacos which many of you will recognise from day 2’s hike on our Village to Village holiday. We promise there won’t be so much snow if you visit us this summer!
Several shots of a Ruddy Turnstone (Vuelvepiedras Común / Arenaria interpres) eating a Sea Urchin at El Faro, Fuengirola, Malaga Province Today.
An unseasonal 1st winter Male Pied Flycatcher seen today on the outskirts of Granada City. Strange bird, not just for the fact that it should have gone a good while ago but it acted more like a chat than a flycatcher spending 90% of its time running around on the ground feeding.
