Cleonymia pectinicornis and Eupithecia oxycedrata, both new species in the garden 23rd April 2017.
Green lizard seen while out cycling yesterday. These are by far the largest and most colourful lizards we get here in the Pyrenees- this was a small one but they can be up to 50cm long. Quite rare – this is the first decent photo that I’ve got of one. Apparently the population was decimated as when people were really struggling for food during and post the civil war these meaty lizards became a good food source. Lovely weather and views yet again in the #pyrenees
And some of the Orchids we saw.
A couple of shots of a very noisy Bonelli’s Warbler which was seen whilst Orchid hunting with Ian Phillips and his sister last week.
John Keo Walking Tours added 49 new photos to the album: April 2017.
