Yesterday, we visited Ainsa for organising the last details of our 10th anniversary Ainsa holiday. Everything is looking great! The hotels look lovely, the restaurants delicious and we have organised a local product tasting night – cheese, olive oils, pate, chorizo, the special Barbastro tomato and of course a few bottles of local wine!
We also spent a short while down at Guadalhorce where we found a very nice Hoopoe with a good meal which looked like a large Moth Caterpillar.
During a stroll in the Pine Woods above Trabuco in Malaga Province we found a watering hole for the goats where several species of birds were coming down to drink including Short-toed Treecreeper, Great and Coal Tits and Firecrest.
Another great day out on the mountains in Alicante. Spring is here.
A Pair of Hawfinches seen this morning on the local patch at Huétor Fields, Granada Province.
