After initially wanting to keep the Picos de Europa a secret back in the early 90’s, Lisa and husband Mike have since realised that the way to conservation is through education and shared knowledge so the Picos website was created as a means for others to learn about the incredible biodiversity of the area (which is why a large part of the site is devoted to nature and wildlife.) And, of course a platform to promote the Climbing, snowshoeing, wildlife and guesthouse holidays.
