After many wonderful years of conversations, knowledge sharing, and community building, the Iberia Nature Forum is now closed. Thank you to everyone who contributed over the years — your insights helped create a valuable archive on Iberian wildlife, nature, and conservation.
Why We Closed the Forum
Online habits have changed. Social media and instant messaging have become the preferred ways to connect and share. Forum activity gradually declined, making it harder to maintain discussions and moderate content effectively. Rather than leave the forum inactive, we’ve chosen to officially close it and preserve its legacy.
Where to Go Next
Although the forum is no longer active, we continue to share information and promote wildlife experiences in Spain through our main site:
Wildside Holidays – Spain
Here you’ll find:
- Articles on Iberian wildlife and ecosystems
- Information about guided wildlife tours
- Conservation updates and travel tips
A Thank You to the Community
Whether you posted once or were a regular contributor, thank you. Your participation made the forum a special place for learning, sharing, and celebrating Iberia’s natural beauty.
We hope you’ll stay connected with us on Wildside Holidays and continue exploring the wonders of nature.

I’ve been living in this lovely area of Western Andalucia for the last 20 years or so and dedicate most of my time to the running of English language tourist information websites for the towns of Cádiz, Ronda, Grazalema, the famous or infamous Caminito del Rey, and also Wildside Holidays, which promotes sustainable and eco-friendly businesses running wildlife and walking holidays in Spain. My articles contain affiliate links that will help you reserve a hotel, bus, train or activity in the area. You don’t pay more, but by using them you do support this website. Thankyou!
