Clive and June Wolfe moved to Andalucia, Spain with their family in December 1999, with a vision to live a simpler life. Over the years, their property, Cortijo Los Lobos, has evolved into an idyllic holiday retreat for families and couples of all ages. The property offers two Spanish-style cottages, each with a private patio and one with an additional roof terrace. Additionally, there is a charming one-bedroom secret garden retreat with its own rock pool, and a self-contained one-bedroom apartment. Guests can enjoy a shared heated swimming pool and jacuzzi with stunning mountain views, landscaped gardens, and a children’s play area.

Cortijo los Lobos is a hidden gem nestled in the Andalucian mountains, surrounded by lush countryside teeming with wildlife. The farm is located among olive groves, pine forests, and natural parks, and in the spring, the wildflowers and abundant hedgerows are a breathtaking sight. The area is also home to a diverse array of bird species, including hoopoes, bee-eaters, blue-winged magpies, eagles, and vultures. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the wild ibex or boar that roam the mountains.

Just an hour and fifteen minutes away from the Sierra Nevada ski resort, you can enjoy skiing in the morning and lounging by the pool in the afternoon. The stunning El Torcal nature area is also just a short 30-minute drive away and a popular choice among our guests.
The traditional village of Villanueva del Trabuco, just a 5-minute drive from the farm, is filled with dining options, small shops, and bars. Unspoiled by mass tourism, visitors can immerse themselves in authentic Spanish culture through frequent fiestas complete with parades, traditional dressed women, and Spanish horses.
