Guided Walking with KCD Walks

KCD Walks offers guided walks around Ronda and its surrounding countryside, led by Claire, a local guide. These experiences are a chance to explore beyond the town’s main sights, enjoy the views and discover the landscape at a relaxed pace.

There are two main walking options available:

  • Tajo Gorge Walk: Explore the new Desfiladero del Tajo walkway, with views into the gorge and towards the river, before continuing along Ronda’s historic city walls to the Almocábar gate. Entry to the gorge walkway is included. Children under eight cannot take part in this route.
  • Ronda from the Outside: Take a circular walk into the countryside south of Ronda, passing olive and almond groves, vineyards and other rural landscapes. Along the way, there may be opportunities to spot birds of prey, deer and wildflowers, with fine views back towards Ronda and its famous bridge.

Both walks last around three hours and start at the Puente Nuevo in central Ronda. The small-group experience is available in English and Spanish, with a reasonable level of fitness required. Transport to and from the walks is not included, although Claire can arrange taxis if needed.
